Program Manager

Jessica has taught elementary in several Colorado school districts, worked as a field manager supporting school implementations of blended and personalized learning, was an IT Manager, and has a B.A. in dance. Jessica enjoys sharing and pursuing these passions in her professional and personal life and is thankful for the chance to combine her background experiences in her current work. Jessica enjoys creating and facilitating professional learning experiences that meet the needs of all participants and is an advocate for personalized learning, reflective practices, and student-centered approaches that empower learners of all ages with the tools they need to succeed and take ownership of their journey.

Ben Wilkoff

Ben Wilkoff
Former Director

Ben has taught middle schoolers English. He has managed online communities for Edmodo and been an Online Learning and Technology Resources Specialist for Douglas County Schools. He was named the Totally Wired Teacher of the year in 2007 by Edutopia and has blogged at Learning is Change since 2004. He is married to his favorite person, and loves his three children quite a little bit. He is passionate about personalized learning, technology with purpose, and creating at least one new thing every day. Ben is the current Director of Blended and Personalized Learning in Aurora Public Schools and the former Director of Personalized Professional Learning in DPS.

In short, he teaches and learns. A lot.

Brandon Petersen

Brandon Petersen
Former Support Specialist

Brandon is currently Professional Development Strategist for Share Fair Nation and former Support Specialist for Personalized Professional Learning in DPS. Prior to this he was a long-time educator in Douglas County having taught Preschool and Elementary students in the classroom and as a technology instructor. He has his Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and holds a Masters Degree in PK – 6 Elementary Curriculum, Assessment, Instruction and a School Administration License. His goal is always to help inspire teachers to be more creative in their classrooms in order to provide more personalized and engaging student learning experiences. In his free time, Brandon loves to geek out enjoying Pop Culture, exploring new technologies, or socializing with friends.
